When caring people join, roll up their sleeves and take action to make their community better, it’s a beautiful thing—and an incredible feeling for everyone involved. That’s a GREENFORD LION! We are common people doing the uncommon to help others and support good causes.
Our Lion’s Club was formed in 1986 and is part of the world's largest network of voluntary service organisation, Lions Clubs International (LCI). Clubs International (British Isles and Ireland) and Lions Clubs International and Lions District 105a

What we do ?

“We Volunteer to Serve & Raise Funds” for the Less Fortunate and those in Need”
The main activities of our club are to raise funds on a continual basis to donate to charities and other deserving good causes. In addition, we volunteer to serve the communities in need. Supporting projects both abroad and in the UK, our motto is ‘we serve ’and our remit is to ‘help those less fortunate than ourselves’.

• Diabetes by promoting awareness and education to our communities
• Environment the health of our planet is essential to life –planting trees, providing clean water, recycling
• programmes and preserving our local areas
• Hunger by feeding the hungry, stocking food banks and creating sustainable community gardens
• Childhood Cancer by expanding access to life saving treatment and supporting children and their families
• Vision by programmes and services for the blind and visually impaired and educating and improving eye health and eye care
